Attended Wesley Girls High School from 1972 to 1979 where she obtained G.C.E. 'O' and 'A' Levels, continued to University of Cape Coast for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography and Sociology and Diploma in Education, in 1984. In 1986, Mrs. Agyapon-Ntra obtained her Master's Degree in Population Studies from the University of Ghana. In 1991, she acquired a Post Graduate Diploma in Population and Development from CDS, Trivandrum, India. Mrs. Agyapon-Ntra has also had specialized training in Management, Performance Appraisal, Project Management, Advanced Leadership and Montessori Education. She was a Teaching Assistant in the Sociology Department of the University of Cape Coast for two years. (1984/85 and 1986/87 academic years.) From March 1988 to August 2006, Mrs. Agyapon-Ntra worked at the Birth and Deaths Registry. She rose from Assistant Registrar to Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths. She resigned from the Births and Deaths Registry and became the Principal of Dayspring Montessori International School in September 2006. Mrs. Agyapon-Ntra is married with three sons. |
